Sherlyn Chopra has been banned from uploading pictures of herself on the social networking site Twitter(TwitPic.com).
The actress, who has over 20,000 followers on the site, tweeted fans to tell them that she had been barred and to say that she feels “handicapped” by the ban.
Speaking to The Times of India, she said: “I have asked my team to get in touch with Twitter to sort out the matter. I hope this is a temporary situation… else I will have to shift to another social networking site.”
Last month, the Dil Bole Hadippa star posted a nude picture of herself on the photo uploading site Twitpic, saying “Thx tweethearts for the amazing feedback!” in response to followers’ comments.
Sherllyn’s latest request to Twitter “Msg 4 Twitter-Dear Twitter,kindly lift the ban on me.I don’t need moral policing.I have a conscience.”
Update: TwitPic has lifted the ban on Sherlyn and she is back on TwitPic and posting new pics on Twitter. But her nude pics have been deleted from Twit Pic
This is her first tweet after the ban has been lifted.
